We have worked alongside nace to fully understand how to challenge our children.
"Don't Steal the Struggle!" is a key phrase that you will hear both teachers and children using, we embrace challenge, difficulties and children "being stuck"
Children are celebrated when they enter "the pit" and take great pride in their frustrations, hard work and success once they achieve.
Our Key Principles of developing a Growth Mindset
- Our brains need to build pathways. We need to keep trying and practice to make new pathways. We can grow our brains.
- We celebrate our mistakes - we learn from them.
- We never give up - we persevere even if it is hard.
- We help and support each other - not by giving an answer but by asking questions to encourage and guide independent thinking
