"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people..."

Galatians 6:10

All that we do at Gunness and Burringham CofE is shaped by our vision and the outcomes that we want for our children and community. Three words from our vision shape our curriculum, and improve outcomes for children, ensuring that all children flourish and have the opportunity to learn together to become Agents of Change.

Welcome to our church...

Our Church, St Barnabus,is situated in the village of Gunness and is a short walk from our school. It is in the Pointed Style and has a chancel nave, a south porch, and a belfry which contains one bell.  It was restored in 1902 and has around 60 seats, the registers dates back all the way to 1851.

We visit our church to celebrate, reflect, respond and remember and look forward to welcoming our community to join us for Christingle, Harvest, Remembrance and Easter Celebrations.

Our Church Family

We are very proud to be part of a strong church school family. We have a positive relationship with Reverend David Swannick. Reverend David joins us in school and leads Collective Worship, sharing our vision and promoting our school values through stories, songs and prayers.

We also invite and welcome Alaina from The New Life Church into school to join us for Collective Worships.
