Safeguarding

All staff at Gunness and Burringham Primary School have a duty of care to keep children safe. Staff receive regular training with a focus on protecting children and understand the signs of abuse.

All staff have recently engaged in Mental Health and Wellbeing Training, this is a huge priority at our school and staff are well equipped to signpost children and support both families and children in the most appropriate way.

There will be a Designated Safeguarding Lead on the school site at all times and they will take charge in the event of a safeguarding concern.

Designated Safeguarding Lead - Mrs Luan Sowerby

Deputy Safeguarding Lead - Miss Megan Harrison

Governor responsible for Safeguarding - Clare Coppens

We work closely in partnership with the Children's Multi - Agency and Safeguarding board to ensure that we seek assurance in the safeguarding procedures of all children.
