Head Boy & Head Girl

 

My name is Ben and I am head boy and ambassador for our school. I think that Gunness and Burringham is a special place because all children are cared for. Our teachers are very kind and caring and always pushing us to be the best we possibly can. My passions include sport, especially football. My favourite place to visit is Australia.  

 

My name is Ella and I am head girl and ambassador for our school. This is a special school because we are inclusive, caring and nurturing. My interests are my family, drama, dancing and holidays with my loved ones.

Our job is represent our school, providing the other children with positive role models. We announce the good to be green trophy every week and meet the headteacher regularly on issues such as school improvement.

 

 

Deputy Head Boy and Girl

Meet Harry and Katie- our deputy head boy and girl. Katie enjoys all kinds of sport and fitness and is very talented. Harry enjoys reading and computer games. Our job is to lead on assembly and worship.

 

 

 

 

In order to be elected as school councillor, the children had to make a speech to their class to establish why they wanted to be council members. The children all said the same, they wanted to make a difference to school life. They wanted to Leadership to listen and consider their ideas when making important decisions.

 

Year 5/6 School Council

 

Lewis, Lily, Dylan and Amelia are our school council members in Miss Haworth’s class. We take the views and opinions of our class to council meetings. 

 

Y3/4 School Council

 

 

Isobel, Oliver, Harley and Ruby are the class council members in Year 3 and 4. They bring their red books to meetings packed with their ideas about how to make school a better place.

 

Y1/2 School Council

 

 

Thomas and Alana represent their class in Y2. They are hard working school council members.  Eden and Ollie represent their class Y1. They are really enjoying their new responsibility.
