Head Boy & Head Girl

My name is Oliver and I am head boy and ambassador for our school. I love this school because it is a safe place to learn and grow. Everyone that works at school cares for us and wants us to the best we possibly can.

My name is Jessica and I am head girl and ambassador for our school. This is a special school because we are one big family. The Gunness and Burringham family. We work together to make sure school is safe, enjoyable and meaningful. Every day we make memories and learn skills that will last a lifetime.

Safeguarding Council

Our Job in school is to support Leadership and Management with keeping everyone safe at school. In Autumn term 2018, we surveyed all the children in school and 100% said that they felt safe in school. This is important to us. The parents were also asked about whether they felt their children were safe at school and 100% agreed that their children were safe.

Our next survey is end of Spring term 2019 and we look forward to updating you with the results.

We support Mrs Gallagher with surveys, e-safety, fire safety, site security and health and safety issues. We take our role very seriously and we meet every half term.

School Council

In order to be elected as school councillor, the children had to make a speech to their class to establish why they wanted to be council members. The children all said the same, they wanted to make a difference to school life. They wanted to Leadership to listen and consider their ideas when making important decisions.

We meet every half term.

Our job is to deliver worship once a half term based on our Christian Value. This term we are revisiting Caring and Trust. In the summer term we are looking at Respect and fairness. You can find a powerpoint presentation based on all our values in our ethos and values page.

We use our local church in Gunness to deliver worship on the harvest festival, Christmas and Easter.
