F.O.G.B.S. 

F.O.G.B.S. stands for “Friends of Gunness and Burringham School”. We are a voluntary group of people who arrange fundraising events and provide support to the school. The money that we raise goes to provide things for the children in a variety of ways; for example we help towards the coach costs of PGL, we present the yr 6 pupils with their leaving photo’s, we hold disco’s for the children and can generally be relied upon to be in the background of things going on in school!

We are always on the look-out for more members; whether you want to be on the committee or are only able to help on certain projects, everybody is more than welcome. Meetings tend to be once a month, but again, if you want to be involved but can’t make a meeting, please just speak to a member and they’ll get you involved! Everything we do is to benefit the children so the more money we can raise, the more our children get! 

Forthcoming Events: 

23^rd November – We will be holding a stall at the Burringham Christmas Fayre again this year. If you can, please come along and support us. We had a very successful evening last year and we’re hoping this year will be just as good! 

7^th December – School Christmas Fayre, 2pm. Everybody is looking forward to the annual Christmas Fayre, with it’s usual brilliant stalls, some hosted by the older children, as well as some new ideas. Please come along, and bring husbands, wives, grandmas and grandads, aunties and uncles, and anyone else you can think of! Donations of raffle prizes, tombola items and cakes can be given to any FOGBS member. Look forward to seeing you there!
